Alex Apostolidis

Alex Apostolidis is a multi-disciplinary artist with an image-based practice working in Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang/Montréal. Using chaos and comedy as cloaking devices, they address their lived experiences of domestic trauma and queer identity throughout video, film photography, sculpture, xerography and site-specific installation. Television, kitsch, cars and gender are common subjects in their practice. Outside of fine art, Alex is an active music photographer, graphic designer and musician.
